Cindy Jones graduated with her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Utah in 1996. She has been a mental health therapist for over 25 years . Cindy primarily works with adults in the area of trauma resolution. She conceptualizes treatment through the lens of EMDR therapy, which is an integrative, comprehensive therapy that has successfully been used to treat a wide variety of issues and disorders. In addition to working with individuals impacted by traumatic events, she also, at times, works with families, agencies and the community at large when a trauma has impacted a larger group of people. (accidents, death, natural disasters, etc)
She is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and a Certified EMDR therapist. She served as the Southern Utah Regional Coordinator for EMDRIA from 2014-2020. Cindy has organized many trainings and consultation groups for mental health therapists in southern Utah.
Cindy is also the Co-Founder of Bi-Tapp and currently serves as the CEO. We are living through unprecedented times and the mental health needs in all communities has dramatically increased. “A paradigm shift has taken place within myself. I have made a choice to look through a much wider lens than my own private practice in providing support to the mental health needs of the community at large. Bi-Tapp is the result of this paradigm shift. We are helping individuals, families, schools, agencies and communities learn how to proactively manage times of heightened stress and anxiety. Bi-Tapp is a simple solution that yields big results.”
